On April 20 the students in the New York Program had dinner and spent the evening with Kwame Anthony Appiah, the Laurence S. Rockefeller University Professor in the Department of Philosophy and the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University.
The students read Appiah's Cosmopolitanism, a work on the philosophical issues relating to globalization, for one of their courses. They had the opportunity to ask him questions about his book on globalization and they did for an entire evening. Appiah carefully listened to and answered their questions in what was a lively and informative discussion for all.
