Visiting Assistant Professor of Government Omobolaji Olarinmoye has received a Levitt Center 2013 Project SHINE course development grant for his Introduction to Comparative Politics (Gov. 112) course.
The purpose of the SHINE course development grant is to encourage thoughtful integration of SHINE as a service-learning component that enhances course content and the learning experience of the students.
Project SHINE (Students Helping in the Naturalization of Elders) offers Hamilton students the opportunity to help local refugees and immigrants. Student participants work one-on-one or in small groups with adult learners in English classes at two Utica sites.
