Austin Briggs, the Hamilton B. Tompkins Professor of English Literature Emeritus, published a letter to the editor in the Nov. 18 issue of the Times Literary Supplement (TLS), a weekly literary review published in London.
The lengthy letter concerned Omar Pound ’51, the son of the poet Ezra Pound, Class of 1905, and included information about Omar’s relations with Hamilton.
