The Hamilton Outdoor Leadership Center took to the water last week but it wasn't raging rapids or a massive Adirondack lake.
Operation Big Splash was a one of a kind guerrilla attack on the new pond outside the Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Performing Arts. The mission was kept 'under the radar' and sent only to the HOC list, Director of Outdoor Leadership Andrew Jillings' kayak class and current AA leaders.
The goal was to float all 44 boats at the Glen House in the pond. About 80 students showed up, donned lifejackets, found a boat and away they went. Everyone was back at the Glen House 45 minutes later.
