Amy Gaffney, director of the Oral Communications Center (OCC), was recently invited to present at the 2nd Annual Symposium on College Internship Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The event was hosted by UW-Madison’s Center for Research on College-Workforce Transitions.
Gaffney presented on a panel focused on “Integrating 21st century skills in STEM learning outside of the classroom.” She discussed services offered by the OCC, highlighting how the center supports the development of communication skills that are vital to students for internships and for post-college life, as well.
