Pulitzer Prize winner OscarHijuelos (ee-WAY-lohs), author of The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love,will present a reading of his work at Hamilton College on Thursday, March 6,at 8 p.m. The reading will take place in the Fillius Events Barn, and is freeand open to the general public.

_Hijuelos' other novels include Our House in the Last World, TheFourteen Sisters of Emilio Montez O'Brien and Mr. Ives' Christmas.His most popular book to date, The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love, was anational and international bestseller. It won the 1990 Pulitzer Prize forfiction, and was adapted into a major motion picture starring Armand Assanteand Antonio Banderas.
