 Ann Owen

Ann Owen, the Henry Platt Bristol Professor of Economics, participated in an American Public Media Marketplace segment titled “How small is too big to fail?” on Feb. 16. She discussed what regulators might consider when making changes to the Dodd-Frank financial reform law.

In discussing Dodd-Frank, which President Trump has spoken about wanting to modify, Owen suggested that it made sense to consider multiple factors when evaluating banks. Others in this story by senior report Nancy Marshall-Genzer included U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, a representative from the Independent Community Bankers of America and a University of Michigan professor. Owen has been a frequent contributor on Marketplace over the year.
