Judith Owens-Manley, associate director for community research for the Levitt Center, and Visiting Instructor of Art Sylvia de Swaan will participate in a panel discussion on the refugee experience hosted by the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute (MWPAI) in Utica.
Panelists joining Owens-Manley and de Swann for the discussion titled, "Victims of War and Oppression: Charting the Refugee Experience" include Peter Vogelaar, executive director of the Mohawk Valley Resource Center for Refugees, and Syracuse University student Chinki Sinha.
