Levitt Center Associate Director of Community Research Judith Owens-Manley presented a workshop at the 2008 Summit on Political Engagement and Bonner Summer Leadership Institute that explored the themes of political and civic engagement. Students and/or administrators from all colleges and universities participating in Bonners Leader Programs attended the institute. Owens-Manley presented a workshop titled "Step by Step, Inch by Inch: Regaining Ground in Family Treatment Court." She discussed the program evaluation of a specialty court for substance abusing parents and the impact of the public policy related to its formation.
