Ever wonder the answer to "Does God exist?"  Contrary to popular perception modern science does not necessarily rule out God's existence.

The Hamilton College Hillel and the physics department are sponsoring a lecture by Carl Rosenzweig on "The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the God of Einstein, Darwin and Marx."  Rosenzweig, professor of physics at Syracuse University, will deliver the talk on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 4:30 p.m. in the Physics Auditorium at Hamilton College.  This event is free and open to the public.

Rosenzweig, who earned a Ph.D. (1972) at Harvard, also completed post-doctoral work at U.C. Berkley and the Weizman Institute.  Since joining the faculty at Syracuse University in 1976, Rosenzweig has been recognized as an interesting, engaging speaker and an active, accomplished researcher.  Rosenzweig's talk will address the question, "Does God exist?"  He will examine this question using traditional Jewish sources as well as his training in twenty-first century science.
