Greenhouse and Invertebrate Care Technician Hillary Joy Pitoniak led a workshop at the Oneida County master gardeners’ 19th annual Herb and Flower Festival. The festival was held June 20 on the grounds of the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Oriskany, N.Y.
In “Herbs for Health: Moving Beyond the Supplement,” Pitoniak presented ways to incorporate herbs into one’s diet and daily routine. She covered such topics as sourcing quality herbs, preparing herbal extracts and supplements, and fun culinary ideas.
