Visiting Associate Professor of Religious Studies S. Brent Plate presented “Spirituality and Sensuality: Why Bodies Matter More Than Beliefs” on March 24 at the University of Vermont (UVM). His talk was part was part of UVM’s Burack Lecture Series.
Later that week, Plate was the keynote speaker at Syracuse University’s Undergraduate Conference on Religion and Culture.
He also discussed his book, The History of Religion in 5½ Objects, on April 8 and 9 at the Utica and Rome campuses of Mohawk Valley Community College.
