Kreisler's Long Sleep, a play written by Amy Biancolli Ringwald '85, will debut in Albany, N.Y., in January. It is based on her 1998 biography of Fritz Kreisler and features live performances by the violinist Christina Sunnerstam-Prince.
Incorporating music, scenes inspired by Kreisler's life and monologues culled from the violinist's own words, it will make its Albany bow in a staged reading on Monday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 p.m., at Capital Repertory Theatre, 111 North Pearl St., Albany. Biancolli is film critic for the Houston Chronicle.
