Hamilton College President Joan Hinde Stewart will hold her second town hall-style meeting on Monday, Nov. 28, in the new Science Center on campus. The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in Room 3024. Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.

President Stewart will discuss current and future initiatives at the college and then take questions. Tours of the new Science Center will be available following the presentation.

Stewart was named Hamilton's 19th president on May 13, 2003. She was previously dean of the College of Liberal Arts and professor of French at the University of South Carolina. A native of Brooklyn, she became the first in her family to earn a college degree when she graduated summa cum laude from St. Joseph's College in 1965. She subsequently was awarded a Ph.D. from Yale University in 1970.
