John O'Neill

John O’Neill, the Edmund A. LeFevre Professor of English Emeritus and lecturer in English, recently presented a paper titled “Adaptation, Appropriation, and Intertextuality in Whit Stillman’s Love and Friendship” at SUNY Plattsburgh. The talk was part of “Jane Austen and the Arts: A Bicentenary Conference” that took place March 23 to 25.

The conference was organized to mark the 200th anniversary of Austen’s death. Scholars from around the world gathered to share their knowledge of and passion for the popular author.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
