Alan Cafruny

Alan Cafruny, the Henry Platt Bristol Chair of International Affairs and professor of government, participated in a round-table discussion titled “What Has Inequality Got to Do With It?” at The New School on March 12. The event was presented by The New School’s Studley Graduate Program in International Affairs.

Cafruny was joined by Leila Simona Talani of King’s College London, and Everita Silina and Sheba Tejani, both of The New School. The discussion was built on the edited volume The Palgrave Handbook of Critical International Political Economy (2016), and focused on answering the question of what inequality has to do with the rise of identity politics. Cafruny and Talani were co-editors of the handbook.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
