Students from the Program in Washington, D.C. joined about 40 alumni at the Great Hamilton College Networking Party, sponsored by the Washington D.C. Alumni Association on March 30.
The evening began with a panel of alumni—George Baker Jr. '74, partner at Williams and Jensen, Sarah Gee Green '94, attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Chip Hammond '77, CFO of the Calvert Foundation, and Allison Porter '93, executive vice president of Avalon Consulting—sharing their experiences and advice about getting that first job and the next. One of the themes of the panel and the discussion that followed was the value of the Hamilton network. A good time and lots of new connections were had by all.
