As the principal investigator on an international team of scholars, Professor of Comparative Literature and Creative Writing Emerita Nancy Sorkin Rabinowitz recently published the first two chapters of Queering the Past(s).
The interactive e-book is meant to be a resource for high school teachers wishing to facilitate discussions and learning about relationships and sexuality with a specific focus on LGBTQ+ issues. It uses the lenses of ancient myth, literature, and material culture to explore questions of identity and gender fluidity. Queering the Past(s) is available on the website of the Classical Association.
The Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama, based at the University of Oxford, has released a podcast in which Rabinowitz and others working on Queering the Past(s) discuss the project.
