During the week of Feb. 18, Douglas Raybeck, professor of anthropology emeritus, presented two papers at the 37th Annual Meeting of the Society for Cross-Cultural Research in New Orleans. The papers were titled "Temporalcentrism: The New Ethnocentrism" and " 'Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here? That depends a good deal on where you want to get to' Said the Cat,'" which addressed issues of methodology. Raybeck also participated in a panel titled "The Irrelevance of Anthropology."
