Raye Leith ’78 will exhibit her work at the Georgetown Spring Art Walk in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, May 5. The event will include open studios, exhibitions, wine and refreshments around a common theme. This year’s theme is interpreting and conceptualizing the surrounding world.
Leith is an artist based in Maryland. She has taught artistic anatomy and figure drawing at the Smithsonian, the University of Maryland Department of Theater, McLean Center, and the Walter Reed Military Hospital. She is currently represented in galleries in Berlin and Tel Aviv.

Partnered with Klagsbrun Studios, Leith will display new and recent work along Wisconsin Avenue. Her work mainly involves scroll format graphite drawings on paper, with a theme of humans toiling together through earthquakes and other natural disasters.
Additionally, Cirque du Soleil has partnered with Klagsbrun and other galleries to offer a few lucky patrons free tickets to see Luzia.
