Sarah Maas ’08, the New York Times bestselling author of the fantasy Throne of Glass series, will read from her work on Thursday, April 6, at 7 p.m., in the Fillius Events Barn.
The event is free and open to the public, and also available to view online on the College Facebook page.
Maas, a magna cum laude graduate of Hamilton, majored in creative writing. She wrote the first incarnation of the Throne of Glass series when she was 16, and it has now sold in 35 languages. Empire of Storms, the fifth book in that series, is available now.
Maas is also author of the A Court of Thorn and Roses series. The third volume in that series, titled A Court of Wings and Ruin, is due to be published in May.
Maas’ reading is sponsored by the Creative Writing Department and Dean of Faculty Office.
