Assistant Professor of Anthropology Colin Quinn and Emily Hull ’18 are among the co-authors of an article published in the September issue of The SAA Archaeological Record.

Presenting Effective and Award-Winning Student Posters at SAA Meetings,” written by members of the Society of American Archaeology (SAA) Student Poster Award Committee and some of their students, highlights advances in archaeology research poster presentations over the past four decades.

“Posters are an important way that students present their research, and the article presents useful tips on how to create effective poster presentations,” Quinn said. He currently chairs the SAA Student Poster Award Committee.

Hull presented at the 2018 SAA Annual Meetings in Washington, D.C., with support from the Dean of Faculty Office. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in anthropological archaeology at the College of William and Mary.
