The 2002 Service of Remembrance, held in honor of deceased alumni from this year's reunion classes, is dedicated to the memory of Arthur Jones III '86, Adam Lewis '87, and Sylvia San Pio Resta '95, who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Rev. Jeffrey McArn, College Chaplain will officiate and Rev. Sean Murray '81 Pastor of The Community Church in Syosset, NY, who provided support at Ground Zero in the days following September 11, will speak at the ecumenical service. G. Roberts Kolb, Christian A. Johnson "Excellence in Teaching" Professor of Music will conduct the Reunion Choir and R. Douglas Sheldon '63, will lead the Baldwin Alumni Choir at the service. All members of the Hamilton College community are invited to participate.
