Hamilton graduate Richard R. Davis '78 has been named by Natixis Global Asset Management (NGAM) as vice president of institutional sales.  As vice president, Davis will be responsible for managing consultant relations for NGAM as well as coordinating several of NGAM's domestic affiliates.  Davis comes to the newly established Institutional Sales division from Geode Capital Management where he served as a consultant.  "Dick is a key addition to our institutional services staff," said Institutional Services President Peter Martin, "He will be an invaluable asset as we continue to build relationships in the consultant community and continue to develop our Natixis offering to the consultant community."  NGAM, one of the 15 largest asset managers in the world, created the Institutional Services division earlier this year to focus on providing institutions and consultant with NGAM's extensive range of investment options.

During his time at Hamilton, Davis earned a bachelor's degree in economics and chemistry, was a member of the men's hockey team and Chi Psi.  Davis went on to earn a master's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  Presently, Davis remains active in the Hamilton community as a current parent of Todd Davis '10 and as a class volunteer.
