Joana Sabadell-Nieto, professor of Hispanic studies and director of Hamilton’s Academic Year in Spain, delivered a plenary lecture titled “Transitional Discourses, Impossible Selfies” at the XV Conference of the International Institute of Sociocriticism: Literature, Community, Memory. Organized by the Institute for Iberian and Ibero-American Studies of the University of Warsaw, the conference was held April 15-18 at the university.
Sabadell-Nieto also chaired a conference panel on Spanish novelist Javier Cercas and participated in a seminar with University of Warsaw students.
