Andrew Pearsall scored his second goal of thegame with just 41 seconds remaining in the third period lifting Salem State toa 3-2 win over Hamilton College at Clinton, NY.

The Continentals (10-7-2) had tied the game with three seconds remaining inthe first period on a goal by Rob Rigg. After over 39 scoreless minutes,however, Pearsall was able to pick up a loose puck in front of Hamiltongoalie Scott Grenier and lift the shots over Grenier'sshoulder.

Jason Smith opened the scoring for the Vikings at 2:09 of the firstperiod, while Hamilton's Darren Johnston tied the game on an unassistedshorthanded goal at 15:09. Pearsall scored just 10 seconds later, givingSalem State a 2-1 lead.

Grenier stopped 17 shots for Hamilton, while Viking goalie BillyWitt turned aside 23 Continental shots for the win. Pearsallfinished with two goals and one assist, while Smith added one goal andone assist.
