Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre Sara C. Walsh designed the set for the world premiere of the new play, The Magician's Daughter, now playing at Geva Theatre in Rochester, N.Y. through Feb. 10.
The Magician's Daughter was written by Lila Rose Kaplan, and directed by Shelley Butler. The Rochester City Newspaper said, "The impressive...set [design by] scenic designer Sara Walsh has transformed the Fielding Stage into a magic trick itself: rain falls from the rafters and dozens of stacked boxes open to reveal props and costume pieces."
