Mahala Dyer Stewart, visiting assistant professor of sociology, participated in an author-meets-critic panel for the book, The Homeschool Choice: Parents and the Privatization of Education, by sociologist Kate Henley Averett.
The event took place on March 12, and was part of the Eastern Sociological Society annual conference titled, “Strategic Sites and Ways for Sociology to Fight Inequality and Injustice” at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
