It was Beach Party, Season Two at Kirner-Johnson during Hamilton's Spring Break in March. For the second consecutive year employees in KJ brought the beach to their office; the number of participants tripled from last year.
Ann Burns, staff assistant for advising, reports: "The 'Beach Party, Season Two' happened because we had so much fun last year and wanted to bring a little summer fun into our March break. The Registrar's Office and Dean of Students Office organized the event. We all pulled together with food, drinks (yes, even virgin margaritas) and decorations, including a 6-foot inflated palm tree," said Burns.
"It was a time for us to take a break from the winter weather and have a great beach picnic. As you can tell from the picture, beach attire was required! We plan to hold an larger event next year and invite our friends from across the campus who are here during the break," said Burns.
