
Seyfarth Shaw LLP, one of the nation's leading full-service law firms, has announced the addition of Hamilton College graduate Robert M. Johnson '79 to its Los Angeles Office staff. Johnson, who earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, brings expertise in acquiring, leasing, and developing commercial property to Southern California as part of Seyfarth Shaw LLP's effort to locally "deepen our real estate bench and add a corporate and finance component." Johnson specializes in leasing high-rise office space, constructing and entitling LEED-certified state-of-the-art industrial facilities, and also has special expertise in developing industrial and commercial projects on Tribal lands. Johnson, who is admitted to the state bars of Missouri, Illinois, and California, earned his BA cum laude from Hamilton in English and History and went on to earn a Master’s in Philosophy from Oxford University, Oriel College in 1981. Johnson currently resides in Southern California and stays active in the Hamilton community as an Admissions and Career Center Volunteer.
