In anticipation of another large crowd for its Great Names speakers' series, Hamilton College has announced special parking and shuttle bus plans for the lecture by longtime former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw on Thursday, April 27. Brokaw will lecture at 7:30 p.m. in the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. Doors will open at 6 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required. Group seating is full and no additional reservations are being accepted at this time.
The college will provide shuttle bus service from three sites this year. They are the parking lot at the Skenandoa Golf Club (corner of Campus Road and Norton Avenue), Clinton Central School (Elm Street lot), and the former Tops Friendly Market (new Hannaford Supermarket) on Meadow Street. Shuttle service will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is free. Buses will return to the lots following the lecture. Lecture attendees are strongly encouraged to utilize the shuttle buses for this lecture, as parking on campus will be limited.
Those guests who will need reserved handicapped seating and/or parking are asked to make arrangements in advance by calling 859-4529.
No backpacks or large purses will be allowed into the field house for this event, and no video or audio recording or photography will be permitted.
Brokaw will be the 14th guest in Hamilton's Sacerdote Great Names Series. His lecture will be interpreted for the deaf and hearing impaired. For updated information on the lecture call the Hamilton College Information Line (315)859-INFO (4636).
