Janet Simons, co-director of the Digital Humanities Initiative (DHi), and Abhishek Amar, assistant professor of religious studies, gave invited presentations on Nov. 13 at Vassar College. Their audience included faculty, librarians and academic technologists.
Simons was asked to present Hamilton’s Digital Humanities Initiative and to consult on forming and sustaining a digital humanities/digital scholarship initiative in the liberal arts.
Amar presented his digital humanities research project, “Sacred Centers in India,” and discussed the role of undergraduate students in these research efforts.
