Assistant Professor of German and Russian Jason Cieply has collaborated with the Working Group for Solidarity in REEES to publish a critical discussion forum on contingent labor in Russian, East-European, and Eurasian Studies in Slavic Review, the field’s premier journal.
This series of articles describes the work of Solidarity so far and features perspectives on contingency from graduate students and contingent scholars in the field. Cieply co-authored the introduction to the forum with Rossen Djagalov of NYU and Natalia Plagmann of the University of Colorado Boulder.
