Hamilton College led the New England Small College Athletic Conference and set a softball team record for fielding percentage in 2011.
Hamilton's .965 fielding percentage currently ranks the Continentals in 27th place on the NCAA Division III list. The team averaged less than one error per game, and committed only 28 in 30 games. The previous program fielding percentage record of .952 was set just last year. Melissa Kaknis '13 made one error in 83 chances at third base for a .988 percentage.
