Associate Professor of East Asian Languages and Literatures Zhuoyi Wang was invited to give three guest lectures and one public talk online during this semester.
In February, he gave a guest lecture on the Chinese film To Live (1994) at the United States Military Academy at West Point. In March, he lectured on The Wandering Earth (2019) at the Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University, and also gave a public talk, titled From The Matrix to Chinese Martial Arts Film, as part of the Flagship Chinese Lecture Series at the University of North Georgia. Wang also gave a guest lecture in April on The Wedding Banquet (1993) and Eat Drink Man Woman (1994) at Northwestern University.
