Spontaneity Reigns At 'Out Of The Box TV'

David Gaynes enjoys a good challenge... Lately, he's been finding it on the Utica Transit Authority bus line. The news reporter for WKTV is on his own time, looking for strangers to talk to him... "The challenge is for someone to tell me their story before they get off at their stop," Gaynes, with camera in hand, explains as he eyes potential interviewees boarding at a stop in East Utica... The 23-year-old Clinton resident and Hamilton College graduate has started his own business, an alternative news production company called "Out of the Box TV Inc.," that he says will deliver compelling, innovative stories.
