Dean of Students Terry Martinez announced that Sarah Solomon has been appointed associate dean of students for student support services.
Solomon joined Hamilton last year as case manager after having served as the assistant dean of students and director of student assistance at Syracuse University. She will lead a search to find a new case manager.
Solomon will provide leadership and oversight for a campus-wide student case management approach that addresses the needs of students who are experiencing significant difficulties related to mental health, physical health, and/or psycho-social adjustment.
She will provide direct support for interventions, referrals, and follow-up services by working in close collaboration with faculty, advisors, health care providers, student affairs colleagues and parents.
