
Seniors Erik Goulding, Michael Gruen and Aram Kudurshian attended and presented posters at the Northeast regional Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges at Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., on April 21 and 22. Goulding, Gruen and Kudurshian presented their technology for synchronizing files between two computers using Bluetooth-enabled cellphones with the poster "Bluetooth Automatic Data Aquisition and Synchronization Software." This work is the result of summer research project funded by a McLouth and Associate Professor of Computer Science Mark Bailey's National Science Foundation grant.
Additionally, Senior Fellow Michael Gruen presented his research on providing secure communication for mobile devices like PDA's and cellphones with a poster titled "A Secure Low-power Approach for Providing Mobile Encryption."
