Karibu: An Evening of East African Food, Art, & Entertainment will be hosted by Women's Studies 332: Tanzania Field Study on Thursday, April 16, from 5-8 p.m. in the Annex. The fundraiser will feature Adanfo African Ensemble from Ghana, dance performances, art auction, and East African inspired buffet.
Tickets will be available Tuesday -Thursday, April 14-16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Beinecke Student Activities Village or at the door. All proceeds will go toward the support of various community projects including Hadzabe women's mico-finance jewelry project, HIV/AIDS workshops, Maasai women's community center, and Imbaseni women's legal clinic. The cost is $15 for students and $20 for faculty, staff and community members.
