ACLP conducts research and education projects to better understand the natural history of Common Loons and factors that impact the Adirondack loon population.
In addition to her veterinary degree, Schoch also holds a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's in natural resources/wildlife management. As ACLP's Program Coordinator, Schoch focuses her work on conservation efforts to protect the environment and its wild and human inhabitants in the Adirondack Park. She has published working papers, reports, and articles for the Wildlife Conservation Society, the BioDiversity Research Institute, Adirondack Nature Conservancy/Adirondack Land Trust and in Conservationist magazine.
The leture is hosted by the department of Comparative Literature and co-sponsored by the Dean of Faculty.
