Alex recently took a big bite out of the Big Apple enroute to Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre where the hit musical Hamilton opens for previews on July 13.

First he visited the Hamilton Grange, his Federal-style home completed in 1802. Now a National Park Service site on 141st Street, he greeted visitors, took a turn manning the information desk and toured the exhibits that chronicle his life as one of the most influential founding fathers.

Alex then turned curious looks into smiling selfies as he worked his way to Midtown, visiting subway straphangers, perusing street-food snacks and mingling with Miss Kitty and tourists in Times Square.

Finally, he made a star appearance at the theatre where the magic will happen in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s production that won awards and rave reviews in advance of its Broadway run.

Alex hopes to make an encore appearance in New York to actually see the show. After all, he is the inspiration for it all. Stay tuned ….
