Dear All,

I am pleased to inform you that we have recently launched a new website and promo piece for the Run for the Fallen documentary, now entitled "To Them That's Gone": www.tothemthatsgone.com.  When you have a moment, please visit our website and watch the video.  We have been hard at work and are now beginning post-production on the film.  There's still a long way to go, but this is a very proud moment.

The title of the film derives from a toast often given by Michael Cleary's father, Jack '68: "To them that's here, to them that's gone, to them we'll see again..."

Many thanks,

Andrew McKay '01

Jon Bellona '03

"To Them That's Gone" Producer/Director Andrew McKay '01 is currently Coordinator of Credits and Titles, Business Affairs Department, for Miramax films in New York City. Andrew has previously worked on major Miramax releases such as "No Country For Old Men", "Doubt", and "Adventureland" as well as two HBO documentaries.

Andrew's brother and fellow co-Producer/Director John McKay '04 was a close friend of both Michael Cleary and Jon Bellona '03 during his time at Hamilton. As Field Producer for "To Them That's Gone", John accompanied the Run for the Fallen on its cross-country trek from California to Arlington. Like his brother, John currently resides in Brooklyn and works for an outstanding Manhattan law firm.

The McKay brothers were also joined by William Gardiner '03 as co-Producer/Director. Gardiner, a Brooklyn native, joined the television community in 2006 as a television editor and recently co-edited the Webby Award-winning documentary series, "Hometown Baghdad".

The Director/Founder of Run for the Fallen is Jon Bellona '03. Bellona founded Run for the Fallen in memory of his freshman roommate and good friend Lt. Michael Cleary '03, who was tragically killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005.
