For the second straight season, Tufts guard Dan Ragsdale hit ahuge shot to lift the Jumbos to victory over Hamilton. Last year it was athree-pointer at the buzzer for a 91-90 win win, and this year it was a threewith 0:20 left to lead Tufts to an 80-77 win.

Ragsdale's three gave Tufts a 78-77 lead, its first since 47-46 early in thesecond half and then the Jumbos stole the ball and made two free throws to goup 80-77 with 0:10 left. Hamilton missed a three-pointer to tie and time ranout.

The win was the sixth in a row for the Jumbos and improved their to 12-3.Hamilton led 38-34 at halftime and was up as many as seven, 56-49, after aKevin Larson jumper with 11:07 remaining. The Continentals led by four, 74-70,following a hhop by Jon Schmiegel, but the Jumbos chipped away until Ragsdale'sshot.

Tufts Joe Donroe led all scorers with 23 points, while Kevin Larson had 18points and JJ Raedts 15 points and 14 rebounds for Hamilton.
