Crash Course in Creative Leadership: This is a full-day program packed with creative ideas to motivate your employees, hone your supervisory skills, increase productivity and create happy, contented employees. It will be presented by a training consultant from National Seminars Group on Tuesday, Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Fillius Events Barn. Lunch will be provided. Financial Planning Seminar: "Smart Women Finish Rich". This program will be presented by Catherine McEnroe, a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley. All employees are invited, but this program is targeted specifically for women who want to "take charge of their finances, plan for financial security and seek their dreams". It will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13 at noon in The Hub, Bristol Center and lunch will be provided. Contact Personnel Services, ext. 4302 no later than Friday, Jan. 7, to register.
Defensive Driving Course: A Defensive Driving Course will be presented by the Oneida County Department of Traffic Safety on Wednesday, Jan. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 27 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Red Pit. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a 10% discount on their liability and collision premiums for 36 months and a reduction of up to four points on their driving record. Tuition for the course is $30 per person. All members of the Hamilton community and their family members are invited to attend. Pre-registration is required by Friday, Jan. 21. Ongoing Programs and Events
Employee Noon Hour Aerobics: This program is a combination of aerobics, step and kick boxing led by Lisa Magnarelli and Cameo Voltz on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the Alumni Gym. This program is free and no pre-registration is required.
Employee Yoga/Pilates Class: Tuesdays in the Events Barn from 5 to 6:15 p.m. starting Tuesday, Jan. 11. The cost is $15 for a six- week session and pre-registration is required no later than Wednesday, Jan. 5. Checks should be made payable to The Trustees of Hamilton College.
Weight Watchers At Work: Wednesdays at noon in the Assembly Room, located on the Third Floor of Bristol Center. The first eight week session of 2005 begins Wednesday, Jan. 19. The cost is $85 for new members; $80 for current members and $72 for Lifetime members not within 5 pounds of their goal weight. Checks should be made payable to Weight Watchers and pre-registration is required by Tuesday, Jan. 11. A minimum of 15 participants are required.
