Mau Tells Grads “Design Your World for the Welfare of All of Life”

Designer and artist Bruce Mau, the co-founder and CEO of the global design consultancy Massive Change Network, told the Class of 2025 that they are all designers of their own futures with the power to inspire change at Hamilton’s Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 25.

Making a Wish Upon a Star

On May 16, a group of students, faculty, and community members gathered at Hamilton College’s Peters Observatory to witness something more than a sky tour. Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central New York, the Hamilton men’s hockey team and Assistant Professor of Physics Adam Lark helped surprise a local teenager, Matthew, with a professional-grade telescope — his long-awaited wish.
