Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, a 1972 graduate of Hamilton College, is mentioned in The New York Times article, "Kerry Shows No Signs of Quick VP Decision," as one of John Kerry's potential running-mates.  According to the article Kerry's selection process is unlikely to yield a decision for weeks. There are no firm assurances he will announce his selection before the nominating convention in late July, even though that's the goal.  Potential running mates include North Carolina Senator John Edwards, former Nebraska Governor and Senator Bob Kerrey, Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Maine Republican and former Senator William Cohen, Virginia Governor Mark Warner, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, and Representative Dick Gephardt.
