Susan Keller has been named the head volleyball and softball coach at Hamilton College.

"We are very pleased to have Susan as a part of our staff," says Athletic Director Tom Murphy. "We look for good things from her and her teams."

Prior to her arrival in Clinton Keller served as the head volleyball coach at Mohawk Valley Community College. In 1996 she led Mohawk Valley to a 30-6-1 record and were the runner-ups at the NJCAA Region III tournament. For her efforts Keller was named the NJCAA Region III Coach of the Year.

Keller was also the head volleyball coach and junior varsity softball coach at New Hartford High School from 1994-1999. Last year she guided New Hartford to a berth in the sectional finals, losing to the eventual sectional and regional winner Solvay.

Keller received her bachelor's degree in physical education and Health from Slippery Rock University in 1978. She went on to receive her master's degree in physical education in 1988 from Bemidji State University.
