Walking to Magdalena, by Associate Professor of Religious Studies Seth Schermerhorn, was published by the University of Nevada Press in 2019. Since then, the book has received more than a dozen positive reviews from academic journals crossing disciplinary boundaries of religious studies, anthropology, Native American and Indigenous studies, and history.
