Assistant Professor of East Asian Languages and Literatures Zhuoyi Wang presented an invited talk on April 6 at the University of Oklahoma (OU).  “From Disaster to Laughter: Making Comedies in the Changing Political Landscape of the People’s Republic of China, 1959-1963” was presented as part of the  Presidential Dream Course roundtable on Maoist cinema and focused on Chinese comedy films produced during the Maoist era.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
