Number one seed Washington University in St. Louis downed Carnegie Mellon University, 14-7, to capture the 2016 Men's Division III National Collegiate Club Championship at Hamilton College's Bristol Pool this weekend. Eight schools competed in the three-day tournament, Oct. 28-30.

The victory marks Washington’s third Division III Collegiate Club Championship in as many years.

Other schools competing were Middlebury College, New York University, Grinnell College, North Atlantic Division, Carnegie Mellon University, Amherst College and Hamilton.
